Later, we will also visit Raj Ghat, the Mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi, erected in 1963 on the site where Gandhi resided from 1917 to 1930. It was built by Charles Correa in homage to Gandhi, to spread his ideas, his letters, his photographs and other documents that mark the path of the search for freedom.
Enjoy a fascinating Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk to see its typical markets and bazaars. We will also take a panoramic walk of the Red Fort.
In the afternoon we will visit the modern part of Delhi
The tour begins on the wide avenue where the parliament is located, surrounded by extensive gardens and several administrative buildings; at one end is the Gateway of India, a triumphal arch commemorating the First World War; at the other is Rashtrapati Bhawan, a wonderful structure and official residence of the President of India. The architecture is a mix of Indian and European styles, with a strong syncretism between elements of the Mughal empire and Buddhist and Hindu art.
OPTIONAL: LUNCH AT KWALITY RESTAURANT
Afterwards, departure for a visit to Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minaret.
Humayun's Tomb: Considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal, Humayun's Tomb is in its own right a magnificent example of Mughal architecture, combining a dome, mausoleum and perfectly proportioned plinth. It is set in a square garden designed in the Persian style, shaded and geometric and criss-crossed by canals and paths. Other monuments within the complex include the Tomb of Isa Khan. The gardens, particularly the canals and ponds, have been restored thanks to the generosity of the Aga Khan Foundation and visitors can now get an idea of what they must have been like in their heyday.
Afterwards, we will also visit the Qutub Minar, a five-storey victory tower. This monument looms over the historic site where Qutbuddin Aibak laid the foundations of the Delhi Sultanate. In 1193, he built the Quwwat-ul-Islam (Power of Islam) Mosque and the Qutub Minar to herald the advent of the Muslim sultans.
Visit to the Sikh Temple Community Kitchen
You will also visit the Sikh Temple (Gurudwara Bangla Sahib), one of the main and most important temples of the Sikh religion. Everyone is welcome at this temple, regardless of age, religion or social status.Sikh religionIt is the ninth religion with the largest number of believers in the world and its main motto is to see God in each one of us. Hence, equality is above all. Perhaps these dogmas of faith explain the hospitality with which the temple staff receives hundreds of people every day. What may be most striking about this generosity is the offer of a humble meal to all pilgrims who, for one reason or another, have decided to come to Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.

The balconies of the palace offer panoramic views of "Jag Niwas" (the world famous Lake Palace Hotel), Jag Temple on one side and the city of Udaipur on the other. Its main entrance is through the three-arched gate - the Tripolina, built in 1725. The path now leads to a series of courtyards, overlapping parations, terraces, halls and gardens - a harmonious profusion hard to describe.
SAHELIYON KI BARI: Maharana Sangram Singh based this in the mid-18th century. The 'maidens' garden' brings to mind the lifestyle of the ladies of the court. The beautiful gardens appear discreet and in impeccable taste. There are four pools with delicate kiosks, and everything is flowers, gardens, pools and fountains protected by a series of walls and trees.
BAGORE KI HAVELI: This is a very nice old building built on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Amir Chand Badwa, the Prime Minister of Mewar built it in the 18th century. The palace has over a hundred rooms and a very interesting display of modern costumes and art.
THE TEMPLE OF JAGDISH: The temple is located in the centre of the city. The Jagannath Rai Temple, which is now called Jagdish-ji, is an important monument. Raised on a high terrace and completed in 1651, it is a tribute both to the tenacity of its builders and the resilience of the tradition of art it represents.
CLOCK TOWER: An imposing structure ofUdaipur, which was built in 1876, this clock tower stands in the center of the old city. The winding alleys all around the tower are lined with charming shops selling exotic wares, silver and gold goods and workshops of some of the finest copper smiths in the region. Clock Tower in Udaipur was the first public clock within the city and is particularly an elegant sight at night when it is illuminated.
JAG MANDIR PALACE: It is built on one of the two natural islands in the southern part of Lake Pichola in Udaipur. This palace is also known as the “Lake Garden Palace” and was used by the royal family as a summer and recreational place where they held parties and meetings. Mehrangarh Fort: Situated on a steep hill, Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India. Mehrangarh Fort, stretching over 5 km on a perpendicular hill and looking down 125 metres, presents a majestic sight on the city skyline. It was built on the advice of a saint in 1459 to establish a sturdy garrison.
This fort is one of the finest in India with its exquisitely carved latticed windows, panels, windows and richly decorated walls of Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal and Sheesh Mahal.
A collection of musical instruments, palanquins, royal costumes, furniture and cannons on the ramparts of the fort are well preserved. Situated on the edge of the Thar Desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of ancient times in the emptiness of the desert. Once the capital of the Marwar state, it was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama - the epic hero of the Ramayana. It is also known as the Blue City, because of the painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort. Earlier blue houses were for Brahmins but not for those who had converted to Brahmins recently, as the colour served to repel mosquitoes. Jodhpur lies close to Rajasthan,
which makes this place a frequent tourist base for tourists. The old city of Jodhpur is surrounded by a thick stone wall. The wall has six large gates called Nagauri gate, Merati gate, Sojati gate, Jalori gate, Siwanchi gate and Chand Pol. We walked down to the Jaswant Thada palace. There is a statue dedicated to the peacock that flew towards the funeral pyre, it has a very nice view of the fort. The temple itself is not very interesting.

There are hundreds of ways to tie a turban, all from just a piece of cloth. You will learn more from the stories circulating about this garment as you will try your hand at tying your turbans under the supervision of one of our experts.
The sari is a typical Indian women's dress. The making of a sari can take 15 days to a month and sometimes up to 6 months depending on the intricacy of its designs and paternity. Indian women wear saris made in Benaras and known as Benarasi saris on important occasions such as a wedding.

Among them is the Taj Mahal, a hymn to love built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 to serve as a mausoleum for his queen, Mumtaj Mahal. It is one of the most famous and photographed buildings in the world. Its perfect proportions and exquisite symmetry have been described as ''a vision, a dream, a poem, a wonder''. This majestic mausoleum with a garden, simulating the Islamic garden of paradise, required around 20,000 workers to work on it for 12 years until it was completed in 1643. Of particular beauty is the marble railing, delicately carved from a single piece of marble and which veiled the area around the royal tombs, as well as the lotus pond which reflects the image of the mausoleum and owes its name to the lotus-shaped spouts of its fountains.
Then visit the Red Fort of Agra
This fort is situated on the west bank of the Yamuna and was built between 1565 and 1573.
